Marisa's 2nd Birthday Present-Thought I would get Marisa ready for the real world and make her a purse. Although it may take her some time to realize how much she needs to haul around stuff at least she is prepared.
Hello and thank you for visiting Felted Tails!! I created this blog to have somewhere to display all my handmade items. I am adding new items everyday so check back often. Please let me know what you think, just contact me by email or post a comment! I would love to create a unique gift for you to give away or keep for yourself!

Hello Kitty Hat
What little girl wouldn't want to wear a Hello Kitty hat to school in the winter?? In fact, I think any of us girls would love to wear this hat around town.

Puppy Hat
Being a huge dog lover I absolutely love this hat!! By using a variegated yarn for the hat it represents all the multi colored, mixed breed dogs out there. The big floppy ears are my favorite since my dogs ears are velvet soft and I love to rub them!

Marisa's 1st Birthday
Marisa loved watching the puppets on tv so I thought her own puppet would be the best 1st birthday present!!
Abby's 1st Birthday Doll
The first time I saw this doll I knew I had to make it for my niece's 1st birthday! The funny thing is the doll looks like my sister (except for the eye color). I look forward to my niece naming her when she is a bit older. I will definitely have to make another, maybe for my other niece ;)

Yoda
"Do or Do Not, There is No Try" ~Yoda
When I saw this Yoda pattern I just had to make him for my sister Emily. Both of us have always been BIG Star Wars fans, back in the day we would play with the Luke, Han, Leia, Darth Vadar, the Millenium Falcon, Ton-Ton's. etc.. plus my dog is named Boba Fett. So for her birthday this year I surprised her with Yoda and she absolutely loves him!! Of course she immediately told me she looks forward to seeing the other characters I make in the future...so this is only the beginning of the Star Wars adventures!!

Earwarmer Headband
This was my first attempt to make this type of headband and it turned out beautiful. This yarn is amazingly soft; made up of 75% Merino Wool, 20% Silk, 5% Cashmere. This headband is the perfect thing for those cold weather walks with your furry friends or to hide those bad hair days!! I look forward to making many more of these, especially one for me.
Christmas present for sister Kaci...
Turtles
My sister asked me to make these cute turtles for her friend who had her first baby in December.
Nothing cuter than a turtle butt...
...other than this cutie...
"I think I can"
"Almost there"
"Ahhh, this is the life...I love my Momma"
