Baby Cloche Hat

Cloche [Klosh] is french for bell and is a style of hat that became especially popular in 1920's.  It is usually made of felt so it will conform to your head and designed to be worn low on your forehead.

This hat was made from cotton yarn and looks adorable on my niece!!  Next time I will make one out of wool yarn so I can felt it.

Birthday Bowl

What do you get for your sister when she is turning 15 years old??  I thought about getting her a gift card to her favorite clothing store but that just isn't my style.  I have a strong desire to make my family and close friends their gifts.  I feel like it is more personal and that way I know they won't get a duplicate.

Well my sister called me when she recieved the bowl and said she loved it, especially since I made it in her favorite color TEAL!!!

Rosebud Hats

My cousin asked me to make two hats for her friend who is expecting a new baby girl in November and already has a 1 year old girl.  Both hats were knit using a 100% Pima Cotton yarn.  The rosebuds are made up of a variety of bright and soft colored cotton yarns with the added detail of several green leaves.

Rosebud Bouquet Baby Hat

The Bouquet Baby Hat in pale pink will be precious on the new baby girl.

Rosebud Wreath Hat

The Wreath Hat in a pale cream yarn will be perfect on the new big sister!

I can't wait to see the two girls in these hats!!

Felted Bowls

Felted Bowls are awesome!!!  They are made out of 100% wool yarn and then felted in the washing machine.  I enjoy letting my imagination run wild by using different color combinations and making a variety of sizes.  Some of the bowls have a slightly rounded bottom while others have a rim along the bottom which creates a very flat bottom.  Recently I got really crafty and added a spiked edging!!

Colorful Spike ~ Small

 Green Guy ~ Mini

Teal Spike ~ Small

Desert Sunset ~ Medium

Sherbert ~ Medium

Stripey ~ Medium

Stripey ~ Large

Camera Case

I love my digital camera but the black case it came with was so plain and boring.  So I decided to make a case so I can carry my camera in style!!

The cases are made of 100% wool yarn and then felted in the washing machine.  The felting process shrinks down the case and increases the thickness, which helps to protect the camera.  Some of the cases are made with a couple different color yarns and others are made with verigated (self striping) yarn.  My favorite is the finishing touch of a fun button!!

Blue and Purple Yarn ~ Daisy Button

Teal Verigated Yarn ~ Square Turquiose Button

Purple Verigated Yarn ~ Rose Button

Orange and Pink Verigated Yarn ~ Daisy Button

Animals

If you are an animal person then I am sure there is a special place in your heart for stuffed animals!!  I haven't made a lot of them but they sure are cute.  Each animal is unique and you can guarantee no one else will have the same one, unlike stuffed animals you will find at a store!

PUPPY LOVE
Boba Fett wanted his own stuffed dog.

ELEPHANT
When I found out my sister was having a baby I decided to make an Elephant for my new niece.  I gave it to my sister on the delivery day to keep her company while waiting for the arrival of baby Marisa.

BUNNY
When my other sister announced she was pregnant I decided to make a Bunny for my second niece.  I gave her the bunny at her baby shower in honor of baby Abigail.

EASTER BUNNY
When Easter came along my niece Marisa had to have an Easter Bunny.

KITTY
This kitty was the perfect size for Abigail to play with until she was big enough to play with the bunny!

OCTY the OCTOPUS
Just had to make this cute little Octopus!  I thought adding the pink bow would be more fun than a face.

Girly Headband

A Girly Headband is just what every little lady needs to dress up any outfit!!  It can be made in a variety of color combinations or just one color if that is your style.

Ribbed Hat

This was the first hat I made for my niece Abigail.  The ribbed hat is great because it will stretch to fit the baby while he/she is growing and the bottom of the hat can be rolled up if its too long.

Strawberry Hat

If you were ever a fan of Strawberry Shortcake you will love this Strawberry Hat.  I made one for my niece and she looked absolutely adorable in it...just like a dollbaby!!

Eyelet Hat

The Eyelet Baby Hat is one of my favorite because it is so simple yet looks so cute on any baby!  It can be made with a solid color yarn or with a verigated yarn as shown in the pictures below.

Pumpkin Hats

Now is the perfect time to get a pumpkin hat for that special little someone to wear to the pumpkin patch!  I can customize your hat with either of the leaves shown below.

On this hat the leaf is just attached at the top of the stem.

This hat was made for a baby so the whole leaf is attached to the hat.

Skull Hats

This skull hat is the perfect gift for a new Mom or for your own children/grandchildren!!  I can make these hats in any size and any color combination.

Dark Purple Skull Hat with a Rolled Brim and Turquiose Bow.

Hot Pink Skull Hat with a Ribbed Brim and Dark Purple Bow.
